Historical and Cultural Getaway to Chania

4 days/3 nights exploring Chania, a city of exceptional cultural and historical interest, which remains vibrant year-round (bars, tavernas, exhibitions, etc.).

A getaway to discover the historical and cultural heritage of Chania’s Old Town and its surroundings: beautiful monuments steeped in history and the unspoiled natural surroundings (sea, beaches, hills, mountains) encircling the city.

Chania, or ‘Hania’ in Greek, is the most picturesque city in Crete, with a remarkably well-preserved historic center. Its foundation dates back to the Minoan era, and traces of the successive Byzantine, Venetian, and Ottoman periods are visible throughout the city.

Chania, a charming city with diverse architecture that blends East and West: ancient ramparts, an old port lined with Venetian-style houses, churches and basilicas, monasteries, a few minarets, and an impressive market all contribute to its uniquely Eastern atmosphere. A city perfect for strolling through its narrow streets bursting with flowers and vibrant colors!
