Guided tours (optional): A guide is available for your visit to Chania and to discover the city’s contemporary art galleries. The guide can also offer you an evening of gourmet food in a taverna with singers and traditional Cretan music (see options and prices in the Activities section of the website).<\/p>\n

DAY 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

Free time: Excursion to the Akrotiri peninsula, east of Chania, panoramic view of Chania from the Tomb of Venizelos, and a swim in the Stavros lagoon, where the film Zorba the Greek with Anthony Quinn was filmed. You can then visit the monasteries of Agia Triada and Gouverneto.<\/p>\n

Guided tours (optional): A guide is available for visiting the ancient site of Aptera and the two remarkable 16th and 17th-century Orthodox monasteries of Agia Triada and Gouverneto (see options and prices in the Activities section of the website).<\/p>\n
